The USDA Wildlife Services has contacted Rainbow asking us to post information to pass on to the public.
To any of you out there that have a Have A Heart Trap.
Many of us have tried trapping a ferel kitty and ended up with a wild animal instead. Here are some things you should know:
A possum does not carry rabies.
Skunks, racoons, fox, and ferel cats can all carry the rabies virus.
If you trap one of these animals,
The USDA Wildlife Services would like to test it.
Please contact Brook Shiley @ 724-263-9199.
If the animal is exhiting aggressive behavior or has wounds,
The USDA Wildlife Services would like to test the animal.
Dead or Alive.
