If you had previous pets that are no longer with you,

Are you ready to handle a new pup or kit?

Are your pets housed indoors?

Who is your current veterinarian?

Can you afford the proper vet care for the animal?

 

Are you looking to adopt a kit or pup?

(All kits and pups are kept in foster until 8 weeks of age.)

If a kit, do you plan on declawing?

If a pup, how much yard space do you have?
Is yard fenced in?
Do you have a run?
Are you familiar with crate training?

Male or female?

Long or short haired?

Breed or mix of?
Where do you live?

Do you rent or own your home?

If you rent, does your lease state that you are permitted to have pets?
(We must see copy or have direct contact with landlord)

 

Do you have children in your home? / Ages?

Who is the pet for?

Who will be the primary caretaker?

 

Is there a "stay at home" adult to supervise new introductions

And keep an eye on interactions with beloved pets and young family members?

If you are older, you may want to consider an animal that is more settled.

Please consider arrangements for the animal if you can no longer care for it.

Many animals end up homeless

due to elderly owners that do not make arrangements for their pets in case of emergency.

This is a very important consideration for adoption.

Please keep in mind that many animals may have several potential adopters.
Interviews are done and information collected to find the best possible home for each animal.

The present adoption donation for a Rainbow kitty is $75.

This includes FIV/FeLV/HW tested "negative" (for cats)

worming, first shot and spay/neuter or certificate (age appropriate).

 Adoption fee for pups is $100.
