About Us

Rainbow Animal Refuge is a nonprofit, 501(C)(3) organization made up strictly of volunteers who have a love for animals.  Established in 1996, we are dedicated to caring for and the placing of stray adn abandoned animals in Butler County, Pennsylvania.  We do not have a free standing building but rather, rely on individual foster homes to care for our found pets.

All animals are fostered in our homes until a suitable permanent home is found.  They receive veterinary care with the necessary age appropriate inoculations and are spayed/neutered when approximately 6 months of age.  We generate revenue by the means of fund-raisers, donations, grants, endowments, memorials, bequests and adoption donations.
